COVID-19 Shipping Updates (May 6)

Konnichiwa!

With the ever-changing situation regarding the recent COVID-19 virus, we hope that everyone is safe and doing well both physically and mentally.  Many things have changed in the past months but we hope that everyone remains hopeful and positive during these difficult times.  This too, shall pass.

We want to offer our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has been patient and understanding with regards to the unprecedented shipping delays we are facing with Japan Post.  For 13+ years, we have used Japan Post confidently to ship packages to over 25 different countries around the world.  Delivery has always been fast and reliable.  However, in the past couple of months, the virus has caused delays and complications that neither we nor Japan Post expected or were prepared for.  We know that many of our customers are eagerly awaiting packages to arrive, most of which were shipped out before we were made aware of any delays with the postal system.

At the present moment, Japan Post has suspended all airmail (EMS, ePacket, SAL, etc.) to most countries in the world.  Many packages that were shipped before these suspensions were announced also seem to be standing still, sometimes for weeks without updates.  We are now being told that some packages may take up to 3~4 months to be delivered.  Although we have tried numerous times to work with Japan Post to expedite this process, we are being told that our only options is to wait.

We know how frustrating this must be for those who have ordered and are waiting on packages.  We understand and share in that frustration completely.  However, we have also been very uplifted by the kind words, patience, and understanding of many of you.  We are extremely grateful for your kindness during these very unusual times.

As new updates regarding Japan Post, outstanding orders, and new shipping methods become available, we will keep everyone up to date here, via our mailing list, and on Instagram @StylisticsJapan

Arigato~!
